本校國際事務處於近日舉辦「2025年泰國北革中學科學與華語文化遊學團」，熱烈歡迎北革中學科學班師生蒞臨參訪。始業式中，向來訪貴賓介紹臺北市立大學的辦學理念、校務發展以及國際專修部的學習規劃，並詳細說明為期多日的行程安排，內容涵蓋多元的科學探索與文化體驗。活動期間，由應用物理暨化學系及地球環境暨生物資源學系學生擔任導覽員，帶領來賓參觀本校科學館、物理與化學實驗室，以及豐富的化石標本，使來訪學生深入認識本校在科學教育上的豐厚資源與研究成果。
此次遊學團也安排多場實作課程與校外參訪，包括前往中央氣象署、國立臺灣科學教育館與臺北市立天文科學教育館，透過專業導覽，增進學生對自然科學的理解與興趣。此外，我們融入生活化的語言學習，讓學生實地練習華語並至攤商點餐，提升語言運用能力。文化體驗部分則安排九份與十分的深度旅遊，感受臺灣壯麗山海與懷舊小鎮的人文風情，加深跨文化理解與情感連結。
本次活動特別感謝大理高中與本校地生系和物化系師生的大力協助，親自帶領北革中學學生進行科學實驗，讓他們實地體驗臺灣高中與大學的教育模式，並在心中播下未來來臺升學的種子。5月9日舉行溫馨的結業式，由兩岸暨國際學術交流組莊武龍組長與華語文暨國際教育組張淑萍組長分別頒發感謝狀與結業證書，肯定學生們的學習成果。活動圓滿落幕，期盼未來持續促進雙方交流與合作。
最後，特別感謝北革中學校長、副校長及四位教師的陪同與指導，讓此次交流活動更加順利圓滿，為兩校建立起深厚的友誼與合作基礎。
Activity Theme: 2025 Pakkred Secondary School Science and Technology & Mandarin Study Abroad（2025.05.05~05.11）in University of Taipei_ Opening Ceremony and Campus Tour

Activity Introduction:
The Office of International Affairs at the University of Taipei recently hosted the "2025 Thailand Pakkred Secondary School Science and Technology &Mandarin Culture Study Aboard," warmly welcoming the teachers and students from Pakkred Secondary School’s science program. During the opening ceremony, we introduced our university’s educational philosophy, institutional development, and the curriculum of the International Program. A detailed explanation of the multi-day itinerary was provided, covering a wide range of scientific explorations and cultural experiences.
Throughout the visit, student guides from the Department of Applied Physics and Chemistry and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences led the guests on a campus tour, including the science museum, physics and chemistry laboratories, and a variety of fossil specimens. These visits allowed the students to gain a deeper understanding of the university’s strong scientific education resources and academic achievements.
The study tour also included several hands-on experimental courses and off-campus visits to institutions such as the Central Weather Administration, the National Taiwan Science Education Center, and the Taipei Astronomical Museum. These professional guided tours helped enhance students’ interest and understanding in the natural sciences. In addition, practical Mandarin language sessions were incorporated, where students practiced speaking in real-life scenarios by ordering from local food vendors. Cultural experiences included in-depth excursions to Jiufen and Shifen, allowing participants to appreciate Taiwan’s stunning mountain and ocean views as well as the nostalgic charm of its old towns, fostering greater cross-cultural understanding and emotional connection.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dalin High School, as well as the faculty and students from our Departments of Applied Physics and Chemistry and Earth and Environmental Sciences, for their dedicated assistance in guiding Bakaew students through hands-on science experiments. These experiences provided valuable insight into Taiwan's high school and university science education, planting seeds for future study in Taiwan.
On May 9, a heartfelt closing ceremony was held, during which Mr. Chuang Wu-Long, Director of the Cross-Strait and International Academic Exchange Division, and Ms. Chang Shu-Ping, Director of the Chinese Language and International Education Division, presented certificates of appreciation to the accompanying teachers and certificates of completion to all participating students, recognizing their learning achievements. The program concluded successfully, and we look forward to continued collaboration and exchange in the future.
Lastly, we extend our special thanks to the Principal, Vice Principal, and four accompanying teachers from Pakkred Secondary School for their kind support and guidance, which greatly contributed to the smooth and successful completion of this meaningful exchange and helped build a strong foundation for lasting friendship and cooperation between our two schools.
